It is deliciously easy to lose oneself at the beach, where details are lost in the big picture and the big picture yields details unforeseen, while time melts into the horizon.
All at once.

You do seem to have the coolest shells on your beach. I’ve never seen anything like that on my side of the continent.
It’s catch as catch can – some days there’s zilch, other days it’s mind boggling. And some days I’d like to walk your side of the continent. Thanks, PIF!

I don’t believe I’ve every seen so many shells in one spot on one beach before. Awesome picture.
Thanks, LCTC. This is how it looks when it’s not tourist season. And why we enjoy leaving little treasures for the tourists to discover when they ARE here – bounty of the sea!

Warm air, coastal breezes, sunshine, ahhhh….
It’s ALL good…thanks for shell-hunting with me, L&I!

A glimpse at some of King Neptune’s treasure; some old, forgotten gems along with some hidden gems as well. Beachcombing is such a relaxing adventure. Maybe similar to golf but no stress.
Yes, indeedy. I can even manage to stress myself out beach combing if I’m not careful, searching for that perfect, intact sand dollar or rare shell. Fortunately, the stress gets lost in the details, too!
