God’s abundance…
If these shells are all dead creatures, think how many more are alive and thriving in the sea from which they washed up.
We only see parts of the whole.
Parts of me are dead,
yet alive,
“I am.”
Fragments of pieces of life within and without me.
Some I recognize, some I am not aware of even though they are part of me,
be it forgotten or unconscious or yet to be.
Only whole by the parts.
Only parts
by His grace.
I think some were forgotten and ‘yet STILL to be’ in the future SSM. Wonderful prose and reflection ( and silhouette) Some may have been just waiting for a Light to sprout and grow. Great post!
Thanks, Mr. 3D…you know I never go back and reread my own stuff, but you inspired me to revisit this one. Yes, forgotten and still to be in the future! The light is shining brighter and brighter, day by day, bright as a dancing fire drawing me in…

You are so poetic my Muse! Luv it!
OMG. Have you read the Winter Vault by Anne Micheals?
No, I haven’t…sounds like I should, though! Thanks for the suggestion, LCTC.

I’m really glad we only see things in parts. If I saw all of it at once, I couldn’t handle it. This is grace.
Totally…ignorance just may actually be bliss!

The place I feel most aware of eternity and God’s grace is interestingly, at the beach. I love what you wrote. 🙂
Many thanks, AGL…He has always drawn me in through the beach, as well. A powerful place to be…

Really neat!
Thanks, PIF! Happy to have you here at the beach with me.
