There is nothing I do not love about summer. It is my favorite season, hands down.
Naturally, I couldn’t resist sharing a few glimpses of my summer for this week’s Photo Challenge:
Thanks, God, for summer lovin’…for cherished memories, for seasons of change, of play and of rest, for periods of sweat and cooling off.
Thanks for tall, refreshing drinks, toes in the water, humming cicadas and opportunities to grow and explore new horizons.
Thank You for an unforgettable summer of growth and new beginnings.
Please bless the WP readers with a safe, happy and enjoyable summer.
And may everyone find time to relax, recharge and reinvent themselves.
Summer is my favorite too…I hate to see it come to an end.
But those horseflies. Those I could easily live without!
Me too, Ms. Mary! Those buggers bug me. Nice to see you again! I hope your summer has been enjoyable. And free of insects.

Wow, the detail on that horsefly picture! And the fact that you were able to catch it!
That horsefly got a little too close, so we got a little close to him to see how he liked it. 🙂 Thank you, Mrs. Betsy! I hope you’re having a wonderful summer.

Ft. Morgan was one of my favorite play areas growing up. You’re making me homesick 🙂
Apologies, Ms. Cynthia! I can empathize, however, and it is “my” beach of choice 🙂

Love these pictures – WOW! The 2nd one is gorgeous and the horsefly is stunning!
Diana xo
It was a stunning Atlantic sunrise last weekend on the most incredible road trip I’ve taken in awhile, Ms. Diana. But I’ll spare you the uncomfortable circumstances for the horsefly (OUCH!). The sunrise was MUCH more enjoyable!

Horsefly bites hurt – I know!
OMGosh, how fantastic are these photos. That first one had me saying out loud to nobody here, ” How blue is the water and the sky. Look at that white sand!”
Summer really is tops in my book too. Bless your dear. ❤ ❤
Oh, Ms. Tess, how I wish I could send some of this white sand and blue water up to Canada for you! You’ll just have to make this your next trip. I promise, no weird windows in your hotel room or people waving in front of your bus. Only sweet sea breezes and rhythmic waves to lull your senses.
~~ssm
No weird people waving in front of the bus? Gee, that’s some offer, SSM, but then I’ll be the only weird person in the crowd…
Never mind. I’m good to GO! 😀
glorious!
Thank you, Ms. Cindy!
